The following is a list of artes that are available to Yuri Lowell in Tales of Vesperia. All artes that are exclusive to the PlayStation 3 and Definitive Edition versions of the game are highlighted with a gray background.

Base Artes (特技 - Tokugi) [ ]

Arcane Artes (奥義 - Ougi) [ ]

Altered Artes (スキル変化技 - Skill Henkawaza) [ ]

Altered artes are activated in place of their original arte during battle, if the required skills or titles are equipped. After the original arte has been used more than 100 times, or more than 50 times for artes requiring titles, the altered version will be learned as a separate arte, which no longer requires the skills or titles to be equipped.

Fatal Strikes (フェイタルストライク) [ ]

Burst Artes (バーストアーツ) [ ]

Burst Artes can be activated only while Over Limit mode is active. The burst arte duration, damage, and effects are increased with Over Limit levels, with maximum effects at Level 3. Similar to altered artes, burst artes can be "altered" if the correct skills are equipped. However, these elemental burst artes cannot be learned separately. All burst artes are activated by holding the Artes button during any arcane or altered arte.

Mystic Artes (秘奥義 - Hi Ougi) [ ]

• the Special skill must be equipped
• Over Limit mode must be active at Level 3 or above
• hold the Attack button during any arcane, altered, or burst arte

• if the Hit Plus skill is equipped, more hits can be added by rapidly tapping the Attack button

• activates automatically if Savage Wolf Fury is used to defeat the second form of the final boss

• automatically ends the battle against the second form of the final boss

• must have beaten the game once
• the Special skill must be equipped
• the sword weapon Vesperia 2nd ( 明星弐号 , Myoujou Ni-gou? ) must be equipped
• Over Limit mode must be active at Level 4
• hold the Attack and Artes buttons during any arcane, altered, or burst arte

• the Special skill must be equipped
• Azure Edge used 100+ times
• Guardian Field used 100+ times
• Flynn Scifo has both Demon Fang and Guardian Field used 100+ times
• must have received the Hope of the Town titles by talking to Ted in the Lower Quarter after reaching the top of Tarqaron
• both Yuri and Flynn must have Over Limit mode active at Level 4
• hold the Attack , Artes , and Guard buttons during any arcane, altered, or burst arte
